Dear Parents,
On Tuesday we started our five-paragraph structure. During this activity we were learning to draft a narrative. We had to draw a monster showing all the important parts of a narrative so that we wouldn't forget.
We had to start of by coming up with two watermelon ideas and three seed ideas that went with each. Next we had to choose one of the watermelon ideas that we could write most about for our Narrative.
A watermelon idea is the big event idea and a seed idea is a small event idea. The seed ideas are what we used to write the paragraphs in our narrative. This is where we left off.
Sincerely,
4KW Secretary
