Maths
Dear Parents,
This week we have been working on a math packet called “Resort Report”. During this activity we created our own hotel presentations.
Before we started our presentation we had to do a math packet. In order for us to complete the math packet, we had to do a lot of multiplication using 2 or more digits. This was so we could find the cost of building the resort we designed. For example we had to think about how much it would cost to get all the materials for inside the hotel and how much it would cost to make the hotel.
This was a fun activity because we got to create our own hotel but still had to do some math.
Sincerely,
Claire

Where We Are In Place and Time
Dear Parents,
Over the last few weeks we have been working on making our own personal structures. These are for our current unit of inquiry called “Where We Are in Place and Time.” We were asked to build a structure that represented some of our values and beliefs.
When we started our structures, we knew nothing about architecture. But now we know much much more. Over the next few weeks we will be learning more and then working to improve our structures and make them better.
We enjoyed this activity and can't wait to start working on this activity again!!!
Sincerely,
Claire
